Pork Vindaloo


Masala : Fresh piece Ginger/Garlic cloves/Red dried chillies/ haldi(tumeric)powder. 1 large onion sliced. methi /mustard seeds black.

whole jeera seeds(all ingredients according to quantity of meat.) Vinegar

Blend roughly the ginger/garlic/chilli by using the pulse button on blender:Remove from blender and add to the cubed pork meat along with the

whole spices of methi/black mustard seed/jeera add in the sliced onion to

the meat in cooking pot with salt and vinegar,and water, put on the flame to

cook, as usual. with some oil.


In meantime dry fry some dhania ( coriander) and jeera seeds to a golden brown, and

grind to a powder with a pestle mortar and Keep aside!


When the curry is coming on the oil, add in some sugar, stir well so as not to

let he curry stick, add in the dhania/jeera powder enough to flavour the

curry, bring on the oil and turn off the Gas. Serve on a bed of pullav ( Colored rice)

rice, with cucumber sticks!
